I can, in my mind, the soft movement of water, the sand between my toes, the sweet salty air, the need to find shells, driftwood, and rocks. My husband and I lived near the ocean for 9 years. We would get up very early in the morning before the sunrise. Our favorite place was Davenport Beach, Santa Cruz, CA. Thank you.
