"The artist looks at the blank canvas. What will come of it? What mood does she want to portray? So she sits and quiets herself. She pinpoints the place that touches her mood that day. There it is. Blues, Greens, Yellows and Reds. That feels like a good starting point. More colors come. She keeps creating from that place within her. It will take several days to finish. Then, Finally, she sits back and looks at her work. She wonders what others will see as they look at her work and then smiles."
"For the artist, the painting always goes deeper. There's an ache within her, a longing. And somehow there's comfort and hope too. She has put it all into each painting. She hopes that others can feel that depth too." -Author: Susan Rinehart

I've been creating Art for as long as I can remember. My parents nurtured creative pursuits throughout my childhood and supported my desire to earn an art degree. My creative exploration continues to excite me and provide personal growth and self-discovery.
My mother always said "You must share your artwork. It will make people happy", and so after many years I am following my mothers words.

Originally from Central Ohio I now live in Eastern Washington. I have a view of the Columbia River from my cozy home with my husband of 23 years and our 3 fur babies.
